Over the years, In The Zone Baseball & Softball Academy has proudly invested our time and resources into supporting a variety of causes that are near and dear to us. Our support of these causes never ends and we are continually working to raise awareness for these important initiatives.

Project Beisbol Baseball & Softball Equipment Collection: Project Béisbol is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, international organization dedicated to delivering donated baseball and softball supplies to children in underprivileged communities in Latin America. In The Zone has an ongoing collection initiative at our main facility in Flanders. NJ. Once we reach a certain volume of collected equipment, we have the equipment packed up and shipped to the distribution center in Florida prior to delivering to the various communities served by Project Beisbol.

Jersey Cares Coat Drive: We are a drop location for Jersey Cares for the yearly winter coat drive. We collect as many coats as possible and then separate and bag the coats prior to sending to the Jersey Cares main facility. From there they are distributed to those in need in our state prior to the coldest months.

Children’s Cancer Awareness Wristbands: Each year we sell golden wristbands to raise awareness for this terrible disease. There are so many children and families effected each year and we do our part each year to raise money and donate to children’t cancer research.

Breast Cancer Awareness Wristbands: Each October we sell pink themed wristbands to raise funds to donate to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. The disease effects one in 8 US women and In The Zone is proud to donate money each year to support the ongoing research efforts to fight and eventually cure the disease.

St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital Toy Drive: The holiday season is especially challenging for kids who have to spend it inside a hospital. Our toy drive collection is our small effort to bring a smile to the faces of these great kids. We collect new, unwrapped toys which we deliver to St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital in December that are then distributed to the boys and girls that are not able to be home for the holidays.

Members of the “ITZ Family” have been incredibly generous over the years with their donations and even volunteering to help us sort through 100’s of coats prior to delivering to Jersey Cares every December. While we are in the business of baseball & softball, we are fully invested in Giving Back and will always strive to do our part in serving others.
