We’re excited to announce the addition of Frank Morris to the team of instructors and trainers here at In The Zone Baseball & Softball Academy. Frank comes to us with an immense amount of playing and coaching experience at the DI level with both St. Peter’s & Seton Hall University.

Frank Morris played at Division I Saint Peter’s University for one year after transferring from Seton Hall University, another Division I program. After playing, he became the Assistant Pitching, and Strength and Conditioning coach at Saint Peter’s. Frank trained players on the mental game of baseball. He focused on developing training programs involving players explosive muscle growth, flexibility and mobility; keys elements in a pitcher’s delivery. Frank has led numerous of athletes to capture their dream to become a professional baseball player and/or becoming a successful college student-athlete.
Before Frank’s college coaching experience, he played at Seton Hall University where he pitched to lead the team to the NCAA Big East Championship in 2011. He was recruited as a center-fielder and a closer. During the spring of his freshman year, Frank displayed outstanding performance that earned him a spot as a conference starter on the mound. During his freshman year as a conference starter, Frank earned All-Conference Honorable Mention. He earned NCAA Big East All-Conference Third Team sophomore year, and Second Team junior year. After fighting numerous of injuries during his playing career at Seton Hall University, he started studying the mechanics of pitching. Frank developed a professional background in the overall framework of pitching; developing a healthy body and mind.
During the college off-season, Frank played in the NECBL Collegiate Baseball League that was sanctioned by the NCAA and Major League Baseball. He played for North Adams Steeple Cats and Holyoke Blue Sox. While he was playing for North Adams Steeple Cats, he earned a spot on the professional prospect team where they played against Team USA in Boston Red Sox Fenway Park.
Frank is from Levittown, PA, Bucks County. He went to Harry S. Truman High School where he started all four years as a shortstop and a closer. His senior year, Frank attended multiple professional showcases but decided to further his education at Seton Hall University.
Frank is very passionate about developing players into athletes. His experiences of playing and coaching would benefit players that want to play college and/or professional baseball.
